Orogenesis – the Art of Mountain Building is an artistic investigation of the geological past of the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. Through the lens of interdisciplinary artist Dr. Kim Hamilton, the exhibition showcases site-specific artworks that vividly depict the region’s prominent rock formations, the dynamic movement of tectonic plates, and the powerful forces of erosion that have shaped our mountains. Experience the intersection of art and science as it tells the story of our ever-changing Earth. Pop-up and virtual exhibitions from September 2024.
